Today, the Office of the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate in Transcarpathian region, in view of the gross violation of the project, refused to issue a permit for the commencement of construction work for installation of windmills at the gem of the Carpathians – the Borzhava valley! This was reported on his Facebook page by Istvan Tsap:
"One doesn’t have to be an expert on environmental issues to understand that the construction on the Borzhava valley would result in the destruction of the alpine (subalpine) ecosystem on an enormous area. It would cause more floods and then muddy landslides. The losses would be estimated at hundreds of millions of hryvnias…"
