According to the Department of Civil Protection of the Uzhgorod City Council, yesterday, the Uzhgorod Police Department received a report of bomb planting in all Uzhgorod city buses.
Passengers were evacuated, buses were inspected by specialists. Some drivers carried out preliminary inspections of their vehicles at the terminal stops, in case of detection of suspicious objects – they would notify specialists through operator, otherwise they would drive to the bus station No.2 (Perechyn bus station), where additional in-depth inspections were conducted by the relevant services.
The situation is completely under control, please remain calm.
