Uzhgorod policemen caught juveniles, 11 and 13 years old, who were robbing people on the street

Officers of the Uzhgorod Police Department detained three minors who had robbed an elderly woman and a young man. Investigation into the both cases has been initiated.

A 69-year-old resident of Uzhgorod reported to the police that on Svoboda Avenue three minors had attacked her, taken her golden earrings and fled. 

The next day, a report about the robbery was received from a 27-year-old man, a resident of the regional center. The man said that on Voloshin Street three boys had robbed him taking a purse with money and a mobile phone "Xiaomi".

Officers of the Uzhgorod criminal police department found out that the same persons were involved in the robberies. During the operational search activities, the police identified the persons involved in the crimes. They were minor residents of the regional center, aged 11 and 13. 

An investigation has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - Robbery involving violence. Law enforcement officers are now checking young people for involvement in committing similar crimes in the city.
