History repeating... Mountain rescuers of Transcarpathia once again are looking for a tourist, this time with a helicopter

Tourists keep ignoring warnings about the danger in the Carpathians. And again rescuers are searching for a lost tourist, this time from Dnipro.

On February 16, at 21:50, a resident of the city of Kyiv reported to the Rescue Service that his friend, who is currently resting at a resort in the village of Pylypets had not been getting in touch for a long time. According to him, the tourist is a resident of the city of Dnipro, born in 1984, and is resting in Transcarpathia alone.

In total, 30 rescuers and 5 vehicles are engaged in the search for the woman, including: 2 mountain search and rescue departments of the town of Mizhhirya and village of N. Vorota consisting of 12 rescuers and 2 units of equipment, 4 policemen in a car, 5 foresters and 5 local residents on two snowmobiles. Also, a helicopter MI-8 is surveying the territory, - the Rescue Service in Transcarpathian region reported.

After 14.00, it was reported that the tourist had been found alive and well at 13.40 in the Kurtatske tract.
