The number of jobs in Transcarpathia has decreased by 3,000

The draft decision "On Amendments to the Decision of the Regional Council of December 13, 2018 "On the Regional Budget for 2019" with amendments was discussed today by the deputies during a meeting of the Permanent Commission of the Regional Council on the Development ofBusiness, Industrial Infrastructure, Banking and Investment of the Transcarpathian Regional Council under the chairmanship of Andriy Andriyiv.
According to Petro Lazar, the head of the Department of Finance of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, during this year there has been a decrease in the revenue part and an increase in the expenditures by about UAH 31 million.
The biggest problem is that such powerful enterprises as Jabil, Yazaki, and others have reduced their job number since the summer, with a significant drop in total of about 3,000 jobs, thus significantly reducing revenues in taxes and personal incomes.
In this regard, it became necessary to reduce the revenue and expenditure part. Fortunately, there have been some savings on energy, they managed to find funds and balance the budget, but the problem of job reduction is worrying.
