The first school was closed for quarantine in Transcarpathia

Due to the outbreak of ARVI and pneumonia, Pryborzhavske Secondary School in Irshava district was closed.

Thus, over three weeks, more than 50 students at the school of Pryborzhavske village became ill with ARVI and pneumonia.

According to the doctors, pneumonia among the students of Pryborzhavske Secondary School is caused by a variety of pathogens, including pneumococcus and respiratory syncytial virus.

Currently, the situation at Pryborzhavske Secondary School is not critical, however, at the meeting of the district headquarters on prevention and emergency response of the Irshava District State Adminsitration, they decided to suspend the educational process for some time in order to prevent spread of influenza, ARVI and pneumonia.

After hearing the information in light of the discussion, the participants of the meeting decided to suspend the educational process in Pryborzhavske Secondary School for a period of 10 calendar days starting from November 29, 2019.
