Pupils of the center “Way of Life” with the help of the Uzhgorod Rotarians made gifts for elderly people (PHOTOS)

– During a creative and practical charity event, pupils of the medical and social rehabilitation center made Christmas toys and a Christmas wreath. Each child made one toy for elderly people in the nursing home. The idea was to bring these two socially vulnerable groups together for one good cause. The children enjoyed making their own Christmas decorations, which can not be bought in any store, and, despite their physical disabilities, they, having a good heart, shared them with the people who have been ignored by their relatives. The campaign is not complete, as soon members of the Rotary Club UZHGOROD will deliver Christmas toys to the Inpatient Care Unit for Elderly People of the Svalyava District Social Welfare Service Center. This is still a surprise for the elderly people, but it will be a pleasant surprise! Such gifts, which were made for them by children with special needs, will be the greatest thing for them!
