People were held captive: Prosecutor’s Office showed the detention of criminals in Transcarpathia (VIDEO)

One of the suspects is a deputy of the local village council, the other two are residents of Kyiv and Transcarpathia. 
According to the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office in Transcarpathian region, a citizen of Tajikistan reported to the police that his and another family of four had been illegally held in the basement in Velyky Berezny. Before that, they were robbed of large sums of cash, cell phones and other valuables.
“During the coordinated special operation, policemen conducted 7 searches in the territory of the city of Kyiv, Velyky Berezny and Perechyn districts. Also, they found and seized the car in which the foreigners were transported, weapons, knives, pepper sprays, handcuffs, cash, bank cards, etc.,” – the report reads.
In addition, they found a basement, where, according to the victims, they had been illegally held for several days, the head of the Perechyn department of Uzhgorod local prosecutor’s office Yuriy Namyak said.
“The choice of a pre-trial restraint is currently being decided. The prosecutor’s office will request unconditional detention,” – the press service informs.
