How much will the 2020 New Year’s dinner cost for Transcarpathians?

Compared to the last year, the New Year celebration will not cost Ukrainians much more – about 7% 
New Year and Christmas are getting closer, experts told how much money Ukrainians will have to spend for a traditional New Year’s dinner this year. On average, a festive dinner with alcohol for four people will cost about 1300 UAH.
The menu includes salads, meat and fish, vegetables, fruits, sweets and drinks. If you add caviar and red fish delicacies, you will have to shell out over 2,000 UAH. Meat now costs almost as much as a year ago. 
For example, ducks and geese cost an average of 250-400 UAH per carcass (a year ago – 230-350 UAH). Turkey will cost 500-650 UAH (a year ago – 470-630), pork for roasting is available at 140-160 UAH, and beef on average at 160 UAH per kilo, which is also comparable with last year prices. As for alcohol, the price of a bottle of traditional champagne increased by about 10 UAH. Local champagne in supermarkets can be bought on average for 100 UAH (a year ago – 90-95 UAH). A bottle of Italian sparkling wine – for 220-440 UAH (a year ago there were many similar offers for 180-360 UAH). Fruits have become a little more expensive – tangerines cost 30-40 UAH per kilo, oranges – 40-45 UAH, bananas – 30-35 UAH per kilo. Prices for sweets have increased the most compared to the last year.
