Procedural prosecutors of the prosecutor’s office in Transcarpathian region, together with investigators of the National Police, detained a Transcarpathian woman who tried to bribe a police investigator with $ 1000.
As it has been established, the woman’s brother is being held in custody for being suspected of drug trafficking (Part 2 of Art. 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The detainee tried to bribe a law enforcement officer with $ 1,000 in order to change the classification of the crime her brother is accused of.
The suspect was arrested under Art.208 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine.
