Mountain rescuers have found four lost tourists in the Carpathians

On August 1, at 3:00 pm, rescuers received a report that on a tourist route near the Mt. Petros in the Rakhiv district, a group of four tourists needed help due to difficult weather conditions. All four are residents of the town of Irdyn in Cherkasy region, born in 1983, 1984, 2008 and 2016. 
Five specialists of the mountain search and rescue department of the village of Lazeshchyna in two vehicles were sent to help the tourists. 
At 8:30 pm, as a result of a search and rescue operation, the lost tourists were found in the area of the Petros Mountain. They were then transported to the temporary residence in the village of Yasinya, Rakhiv district. They did not need medical assistance.
