This phenomenon occurs annually between July 17 and August 24. Its peak is on August 9-13.
Residents of Transcarpathian region will be able to watch the most striking spectacle of the year on the night of August 12th to August 13th.
Observations should start after 10pm, but the time between 2am and 4am will be the most spectacular. It will be seen best in the open country, far from cities.
You will be able to see about 120 meteorites per hour (which is about 2 per minute!) flying out of the Perseus constellation!
Astrologers believe that the Perseids starfall is very powerful because of its high intensity. So be sure to make a wish when you see a shooting star – it will come true!
