200 participants gathered for the night run in Uzhgorod (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

200 participants took part in the night run, which took place in Uzhgorod within the framework of the traditional festival "Sakura Fest".

After registration, on Teatralna Square, they had a warm-up, and a jumping performance took place.
Before the race, award was presented to the best athlete of Uzhgorod Children and Youth Sports School No.1: bronze medalist at the 52nd international children’s games in Jerusalem Anastasia Holych (fencing team).

All participants ran along the route "Teatralna Square – Korzo Street – Nezalezhnist embankment – Masaryk Bridge – Kyivska embankment – Teatralna Square".

The winners received cups and sweet presents, gift certificates for visiting fitness center. The oldest participant, 59-year-old Vasyl Sharodi, was given certificate for 5 massage sessions, the youngest one, 1-year-old Nazar Martsenyshyn – certificate for 10 visits to the rope park, in addition, they received memorable souvenirs and delicacies.

The event was organized by the Department of Culture, Youth and Sports of Uzhgorod City Council with the support of the Federation of Track and Field Athletics of Transcarpathian Region, the Transcarpathian branch of the Bodybuilding Federation of Ukraine, Uzhgorod Children and Youth Sports School No. 1, patrons.
