While extinguishing a fire in Volovets district, rescuers found the body of a man

On January 13, at 18:44, the rescue service received a report of a fire on Karpatska street, in the town of Volovets. The fire started in a wooden summer kitchen of a 52-year-old local resident.

Two crews of firefighters of the 11th state fire and rescue unit were sent at the scene. In total, two pieces of equipment and 8 personnel members were engaged.

At 18:55, the fire was contained on the area of ​​10 square meters, and at 19:15 it was completely eliminated.

Rescuers found the body of the owner at the scene.

The cause of the fire and circumstances of the person’s death are to be established by the police.

The fire destroyed some of the property.
