When exactly was Christ born?

Ukraine is one of the five countries where Christians officially celebrate Christmas twice – December 25 and January 7. In addition to Ukraine, Christmas is officially celebrated twice in Belarus, Moldova, Eritrea and Lebanon.

The decision on additional holiday was adopted by deputies this year to "equalize" the holidays of both rites.

Today, according to the Department of Religious Affairs and Nationalities of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, 11,000 religious Catholic and Protestant communities have joined the Christmas celebration. This is about 30% of all religious organizations in Ukraine.

December 25 is often called "Catholic Christmas". The Hromadske explains why this name is incorrect, why Christmas Day is the same for all and why December 25 should be called "Christmas of the Western rite"https://hromadske.ua/posts/chomu-rizdvo-25-hrudnia-ne-mozhna-nazyvaty-katolytskym

Celebration of Christmas on December 25 is often associated with Catholicism, and January 7 – with Orthodoxy. But in fact, the date of celebration is the same, the only difference is in the system of chronology: Western churches celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar, and the eastern ones follow the Julian, so January 7 is the same as December 25, but according to the old style.

In this regard, Uzhgorod.in traditionally conducts polls among Transcarpathians  to find out: when exactly, in their opinion, was Christ born?
