Transcarpathian in Egyptian prison: the story is not over...

Transcarpathian Eduard Chikosh imprisoned in Egypt was visited by Ukrainian delegation

This was reported by journalist Roman Bochkala on his Facebook page.

"We flew to Cairo with the People's Deputies Iryna Suslova and Robert Gorvat and the expert on monitoring the conditions of detention Volodymyr Shurduk. Here, Eduard Chikosh is serving his sentence. A native of Transcarpathia, a citizen of Ukraine, who has been in prison for seven years on false accusations. They say he is a terrorist and was preparing for a coup. He was sentenced to 25 years without the right to appeal. I was at the court hearing, saw this show. Chikosh was unfortunate. He was caught by the millstones of revolution. Religious fanatics came to power. They were harrassing foreign investors, stealing their business", - the journalist wrote.

Bochkala promised to inform about the details of the trip later.

"For now, a little announcement. Upon returning to Kyiv, we will hold a press conference. We will tell how Eduard is doing there and how he can be helped. I will also be grateful to colleagues - journalists who will provide informational support. Contact me. I guarantee an interesting material. And most importantly, by joint efforts, we can save a person", - Bochkala said.
