Today, Rakhiv district activists blocked the road Mukachevo-Rohatyn

Today, 19.09.2018, activists of Rakhiv district, who rallied yesterday on the Rakhiv-Bohdan-Luhy road, blocked the Mukachevo-Rohatyn road of general public use in the city of Rakhiv with the only demand to carry out a major repair of the Rakhiv-Bohdan-Luhy road, which has not been repaired for 10 years, the participant Mykola Kokish-Melnik informed in social networks. The protesters are set to block the road until a major repair of the Rakhiv-Bohdan-Luhy road is carried out.  Recall that today Hennadiy Moskal expressed his views on yesterday’s events on his official site: "The same situation is with the blocking of the road "Rakhiv – Bohdan – Luhy" in Rakhiv district. The blockers have been repeatedly said that, according to the schedule, the Romanian company "Trameko", that won the tender, will begin repairing the road leading up to the Hoverla immediately after the completion of work in Mukachevo district. The funds have already been allocated – UAH 14.8 million. However, the "activists", wishing to become famous, still blocked the road to show that it was them who made the repairs possible. In order to put an end to the "epidemic of blocking", I instructed the head of the regional office of the National Police in Transcarpathian region to open criminal proceedings over these incidents and to prosecute the blockers under Art. 279 of the Criminal Code – "Transport communications blocking".
