Smugglers left about 2,000 packs of cigarettes on the border with Hungary

Last night, unidentified persons tried to illegally move four packages of tobacco products to neighboring Hungary.

The border guards of the "Vylok" department of the Mukachevo detachment prevented the offense. The border guards noticed two people with packages on their shoulders moving towards the Tisa river, which makes the Ukrainian-Hungarian border. The border guards immediately began chasing the offenders. Having realized that they were exposed, the smugglers left their packages and ran away. During the inspection, the border guards found 1,800 packs of cigarettes Marlboro without excise stamps.

The found tobacco products were delivered to the department of the border guard service "Vylok", and subsequently will be handed over to the SFS, - the press service of the Mukachevo border guard detachment reported.
