Although it is autumn now, the flowers that are associated with spring - saffrons - have blossomed in the reserve tract "Mocharka" on the outskirts of the village of Bushtyno. This species is called Crocus banaticus, - Tyachiv.com.ua informs.

They are wide-spread in the Eastern and Southern Carpathians within Romania and Ukraine.

They have a lighter shade than other saffrons and bloom in the autumn - from mid-September until October.

The crocus banaticus is listed in the Red Book of Ukraine, and therefore needs care and protection.
