The head of the Hungarian office of the "Tysa 1" TV channel is resigning from the Transcarpathian branch of the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine to work at the private "Channel 21".

This was announced by the "STV".

Along with the head of the Hungarian office of the "Tysa 1" TV channel, Zoltan Kulin, who is resigning from the Transcarpathian branch of the NPBCU, all members of the team, that was producing programmes and news in Hungarian language, plan to leave too. Kulin himself said that. "All seven employees of the office for television and radio programmes in Hungarian language want to go to the Channel 21. We do not want to do this instantly, we want the process to be gradual. In a week, I am going on vacation, after which I will not return to the "Tysa". And then, the rest of the employees will gradually resign," - he said.

Kulin said that, during the difficult period, his colleagues will ensure the release of Hungarian radio programmes at the "Tysa-1" in the same volume as before." We will also translate Ukrainian news into Hungarian and produce one newsletter a week," - he added. The employees want to conclude a civil law agreement with the NPBCU branch.

The producer of the Transcarpathian branch of the NPBCU Yevhen Tychyna said that currently the Hungarian office produces 2 television programmes of 26 minutes each, that are aired on Mondays and Wednesdays and re-aired on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Plus news in Hungarian language on TV. Also, they produce 5 programmes on the radio.

According to Yevhen Tychyna, the Transcarpathian branch has already begun searching for people to fill the vacant posts that will appear after the resignation of the current employees of the Hungarian office.
