At the Career Fair in Uzhgorod, employers offered around 500 vacancies

A large-scale Career Fair for residents, youth and guests of Uzhgorod was held today at the Uzhgorod City Employment Center. More than 35 employers offered about 500 vacancies that can be used for employment.

"The slogan "Live and work in Ukraine", under which the Career Fair is held, is extremely relevant today, - the Director of the Transarpathian Regional Employment Center Yuriy Fushchych said. "This event is an exhibition of leading employer companies aimed at active jobseekers, students, young professionals, who want to start or change their careers, it provides information for unemployed job seekers about the labor market condition, the world of professions, opportunities to undergo training in the conditions of the economy stabilization and development of market relations", - he added.

The companies offered real vacancies and internships, and the applicants exchanged views with representatives of the employers, were able to submit their resumes and get firsthand job information.

A separate emphasis on the Fair was made on the inextricable link between the desired profession and the necessary education. Representatives of schools presented educational services and held a dialogue with prospective applicants, while high school students learned about the possibilities of obtaining the relevant professions and specialties. Among the presented educational institutions: Uzhgorod National University, National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Uzhgorod Center for Vocational Education, Uzhgorod Musical College, Uzhgorod Trade and Economic College, Uzhgorod School of Trade and Food Technology, etc.
