Today, October 19, the Rakhiv group of rescuers had a training sessions at the Dragobrat ski resort on the Mount Stig. The group includes mountain rescuers of the villages of Yasinya, Lazeshchyna, Ust-Chorna and the city of Rakhiv. During the exercises, they rehearsed evacuation of victims from chair lift in case of emergency stop; position finding using map and surroundings, finding and helping victims, developing skills of satellite navigation (GPS) devices use. Similar training is planned to be held on the mountain of Krasiya in Velyky Berezny district and on the mountain slopes of Mizhhirya district.
