This Sunday, the largest theater in Transcarpathia opens a new theatrical season (ANNOUNCEMENT)

On Sunday, October 28, the Transcarpathian Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater opens its 73rd theatrical season.

At 12.00, there will be the musical fairy tale for children based on the play of A. Khait "Birthday of Leopold the Cat". At 18.00, there will be the official opening of the theatrical season with the Carpathian parable "Uncle with wings" based on the story of the classic of magical realism G. Marquez. After the March premiere, the playwright Oleksandr Havrosh has added several more scenes, so the audience will see a new version of the play, which raises many topical issues of our lives, where tragedy is often mixed with comedy and absurdity. (Both Sunday shows are directed by Oleksandr Sarkisyants).

The 73rd theatrical season is going to be interesting. The premiere of a musical performance will soon take place. It will be directed by a German director Mykhailo Milmeister. Honored Artist of Ukraine Mykhailo Fischenko is preparing his first production on the big stage. A young director from Kyiv was invited to produce the New Year’s Eve fairy tale. 

So on Sunday, theatrical life in Uzhgorod will come in full swing.
