The best educators of the region were awarded in Uzhgorod

On Thursday, October 4, the celebrations on the occasion of the Day of Education Workers took place in the Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity PADIYUN. The leaders of the region - the acting head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Yaroslav Halas and the chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Mykhailo Rivis - congratulated the teachers of Transcarpathia.

The best teachers of Transcarpathia were awarded on the occasion of the professional holiday. Thus, the music and art teacher of Vynogradiv school №8 Lyudmila Bodnaryuk, who made it to the Top 10 best educators of Ukraine, was awarded with the highest distinction of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration "For Merits to Transcarpathia".

The presentation of the "Golden Bear" to the director of the regional department of education and science Hanna Sopkova was unexpected, but deserved.
The regional education awards this year were presented to 17 best educators from each district and the cities of Uzhgorod, Mukachevo and Khust.

This year, the 100th anniversary of the outstanding Ukrainian teacher Vasyl Sukhomlynsky is celebrated around the world. According to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, seven Transcarpathian educators were awarded with the breastplate "Vasyl Sukhomlynsky". Those are teachers, directors and deputy directors of educational institutions of the region, the head of the district education department.
