Poachers were cutting down oaks in Uzhgorod district (VIDEO)

Near the village of the Hlyboke, Uzhgorod district, raid crew caught loggers cutting oak trees, the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional Forest and Hunting Range Administration reported. As stated in the report, during the planned forestry inspection, the raid team found 6 men that were cutting the oak trees and loading them on a trailer. The leader of the loggers was a resident of the village of Hlyboke. At the scene, they found two stumps of oak trees, diameter 43 and 49 cm, and 7 logs, – the press service reported. Appropriate reports were drawn up against the offenders. According to preliminary data, the volume of illegally cut timber was 3.4 cubic meters amounting to 10,457 UAH.
