This is really a good news. The small house at Kapitulna st., 14 has long been in an abandoned state. Even though this house can be a monument of architecture of the Austro-Hungarian era.  There were concerns that the building would collapse due to age and indifference of the owners.

But, fortunately, no! The other day, walking on Kapitulna street, I saw a wonderful, encouraging sight - this house is being renovated. And not just superficially, but with attention to details, with the restoration of stucco. Apparently, the carpentry was removed in order to be repaired and restored, and not to be replaced with modern double-glazed windows.

Here are some photos:

Не знаю, кого як, але мене особисто ця ситуація дуже тішить.  І можу назвати з десяток інших старих, проте дуже харизматичних будинків Ужгорода, яким такий підхід вкрай необхідний.
