Klimkin: Hungary will not do anything in Transcarpathian region without the consent of the Ukrainian government (VIDEO)
Hungary will soon change the name of "the minister's commissioner for Transcarpathia".
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin after a meeting with the Hungarian colleague Peter Szijjarto in Luxembourg, the Newsone.ua reported.
"We finally reached agreement with Peter Szijjarto to change the post of the commissioner, hold consular consultations and meet next week in Warsaw during the Warsaw Security Forum," - he wrote in his Twitter.
At the same time, Klimkin stressed that Hungary would not be doing anything in Transcarpathian region without the consent of the Ukrainian government.
"Either we are working there together, coordinating our steps, or the Hungarians are not working there at all," - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said.
Recall that on October 12, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine visited Uzhgorod, where he met with the leaders of the public organization KMKSZ.
Video with the comment was posted by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Hungary, Lyubov Nepop on her page in Facebook.
