Four drunk drivers, two of whom committed an accident, were detained in Transcarpathia

According to the Communication Department of the Transcarpathian regional police, over the past weekend, law enforcement officers documented cases of driving vehicles in the state of intoxication in Uzhgorod, Perechyn, Khust, and Rakhiv districts. 

In Khust, at night, an accident occurred: a car "Mercedes" with foreign registration ran into a curb. The driver was not injured, but the car suffered serious damage. The car was driven by a young resident of Irshava district in a state of intoxication. During the medical examination in the hospital, 1.9 ppm of alcohol was found in his blood. Officers of the response team of the Khust department patrol police drew up against the offender the report of administrative violation for the commission of an accident and for driving in the state of alcohol intoxication. The driver's license was seized from the man.  

Another traffic accident occurred at midnight in the village og Dubrynychi in Perechyn district. There, a car "ZAZ Tavria" driven by a local resident drove into the yard of a private home. When the patrol police response team arrived at the scene, they found out that the driver was in a state of severe alcohol intoxication. He did not have a driver's license. The driver refused to undergo medical examination, and the policemen in the presence of witnesses drew up appropriate reports of administrative offense, and the car was taken to the police impound lot. 

In the village of Poroshkovo, Perechyn district, law enforcement officers stopped a car "Mitsubishi Cоlt" with the tail lights off, and the driver was not fastened with a seatbelt. It was driven by a resident of Uzhgorod who did not have a driver's license and was in a state of intoxication. He refused to undergo medical examination. In the presence of two witnesses, law enforcement officers drew up a report of administrative violation for driving the state of alcoholic intoxication and without a driver's license. 

In the village of Horyany in Uzhgorod district, at night, police officers stopped a car "Ssang Yon Rexton" for not using a turn light during the maneuver. The vehicle was driven by a resident of Uzhgorod in the state of alcohol intoxication. He did not have a driver's license, and refused to undergo medical examination. The police officers in the presence of witnesses drew up appropriate administrative reports against the offender for driving under the influence of alcohol and without driver's licenses.

All the reports of administrative offenses against the offenders under Art. 130 of the CAO (Driving a vehicle by a person who is in a state of alcohol intoxication) will be forwarded to the court for making a final decision.
