"I have not seen or tried so many varieties of apples in my life", – Uzhgorod writer Bandy Sholtes shares his impressions about Transcarpathian apple paradise – the village of Verkhnye Bukivtsyovo.
"Apples are literally everywhere, even in the forest, millions of them, and all are delicious, juicy, without a single worm.
I ate them in kilograms.
On the fourth day of the apple paradise, local people began to pick up fruits to be sold to the processing plant. They get 40 kopiykas per kilogram. And what you buy in supermarkets is tasteless garbage next to the local apples," – he says and shows atmospheric photos.
