Today, November 21, Transcarpathia is commemorating the feat of the participants of the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity, the press center of the Transcarpathian RSA informs.
In Uzhgorod, the regional and city officials, the military, representatives of the public gathered near the memorial sign to the fighters for freedom and independence of Ukraine in order to pay tribute to those who lost their lives fighting for Ukraine’s right to European choice and a bright future. The participants left dozens of lit candles near the memorial.
In the evening, candles will aslo be lit on the balcony of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration building.
Recall that an exhibition of photographs of the Revolution of Dignity period is taking in the atrium of the Regional State Administration. The landmark events of Uzhgorod’s EuroMaidan are captured in over fifty works of Transcarpathian photocorrespondents.
Heroes do not die as long as the memory of their feat lives!
