Transcarpathian foresters are actively preparing for New Year and Christmas holidays. A fir tree is an essential attribute of each home during the winter holidays. That is why the Transcarpathian foresters have already begun selling "New Year’s beauties".
The Transcarpathian Regional Forest and Hunting Range Administration informs about the plan for the sale of fir trees by the state forestry parks in 2018-2019. It should be noted that this year, according to the targets, foresters plan to sell 21020 thousand fir trees. The average price will range from 45 to 110 UAH, depending on the forest enterprise. Unlike previous years, this year, all state forestries of the region are taking part in the campaign for the sale of New Year’s beauties.
The trees for the main holiday of the year are grown on special plantations or cut off during clearing of forests.
