A rally-requiem took place on the territory of the memorial park. Officials made speeches, soldiers fired salute, singers performed songs. After the official part, the priests held an ecumenical memorial service for the Sich members, who in 1939 gave their lives for freedom.
By laying flowers to the monument to the President of the Carpathian Ukraine, Augustine Voloshin, they celebrated the 79th anniversary of the proclamation of the independence of the Carpathian Ukraine in Uzhgorod.
