Korean Culture Day will take place in Mukachevo (ANNOUNCEMENT)

The event is a part of the preparation of the All-Ukrainian Youth Educational and Cultural Project World Leaders Camp-2018 for 2,500 active young people from all over Ukraine, heads of educational institutions, public organizations and representatives from the Republic of Korea, the USA, the Philippines and other countries.

With the informational support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the project will combine the efforts of young people, educators, representatives of government and business in order to educate a generation of socially conscious young people with creative and critical thinking.

The goal of the Korean Culture Day is to promote the cultural development of Uzhgorod youth, as well as to form innovative thinking through knowledge of other cultures and volunteering.

The event will feature:

• master class on Korean calligraphy
• learning the language
• musical and dance performances
• learning Korean songs

Korean Culture Day Program:
12.30 – 13.00 – registration of participants
13.00 – 13.05 – beginning, presenter
13.05 – 13.10 – performance of the dance team of Mukachevo
13.10 – 13.15 – music performances (volunteers from Korea)
13.15 – 13.25 – presentation of the Global Youth NGO and the GNC Volunteer Program
13.25 – 13.50 – a volunteer’s story about the experience in the Republic of Korea
13.50 – 14.40 – Korean language video lesson 
14.40 – 15.00 – Korean dance lesson
15.00 – 15.45 – lecture "Thinking that has changed the whole country. Experience of the Republic of Korea"
15.45 – 16.45 – master class "Calligraphy"
16.45 – 17.00 – photos in national Korean costumes.
