Hungary has announced the opening of OSCE mission in Transcarpathia, the RSA does not know anything about it

On Friday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary was informed by a letter from the Secretary General that the OSCE had established a permanent mission in Uzhgorod.

The press service of the government party Fides, referring to the words of Peter Szijjarto said in Budapest on March 10 during a press conference, informs that the monitoring mission consists of 12 people, – the Mukachevo.Net reported.

But the Transcarpathian RSA is not aware of the opening of the OSCE mission. Nobody informed the Transcarpathian administration about the opening of the OSCE mission in the region, – the regional administration representative said.

The Transcarpathian Regional State Administration has not received any proposals on opening of an OSCE mission office, Yaroslav Halas, officer of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration told the Hromadske radio. "There were no proposals to the administration on the opening of a permanent monitoring mission. And the administration did not approve it," – he said. He also added that the approval might not be necessary, but they should have notified the administration, and that the nearest office of the OSCE mission is in Ivano-Frankivsk.
