OSCE: two men suspected of breaking cars in Beregovo were arrested

Law enforcers of Transcarpathian region arrested two men for damaging nine cars with Hungarian license plates. This is stated in the monitoring report of the OSCE’s PMM published on Tuesday, the UNN reported.

It should be noted that earlier the mission reported about inflicting damages to nine vehicles with license plates of Hungary.

According to the PMM, three police officers confirmed the incident and reported that an investigation was underway. Several residents, including a man, who said that he was the owner of one of the damaged cars, told the monitors that such incidents had never happened in their district before. The head of local police said that according to video surveillance, the car was damaged by four people.

"On May 14, members of the Mission team spoke with the press secretary of the regional police department, who reported that two suspects (men aged 29 and 34) had been arrested and interrogated in this case," – the report states.
