“At least some use of that”: onions and tomatoes were planted on Petofi square (VIDEO)

On Friday, May 25th, the campaign "City garden" took place in Uzhgorod, on Petofi square, where Transcarpathians planted about a dozen bushes of tomatoes and other vegetables, the 0312.ua wrote.

"Uzhgorod residents do not even know when the reconstruction of Petofi square will end – in a year or two. And the land should be used effectively. Every day, food prices in Ukraine are rising. So, we plan to gather the first crop on Petofi square in a few months," – the participant of the campaign Oleg Oros said.
