"Yesterday, in the evening, I was beaten while filming a conflict situation in the cinema "5 element" in Uzhgorod. And I was beaten not by visitors, but by the staff and a drunk man who claimed to be the owner of the cinema. He attacked me in the presence of the officers of the patrol police. In addition to my videos, everything should be recorded on patrol policemen's cameras."
According to him, it all started when he saw a girl arguing with the cinema workers and demanding the complaint register. The cinema workers were very rude with the girl, and the journalist began filming them with his phone. But when he began filming, the workers said that he had no right to do so, despite the fact that the journalist showed his ID.
But, according to Vitaliy Glagola, this did not stop two workers, and the administrator tried to snatch his phone from him while giving him a few punches. Then another man came (pictured).
The man told that he was the owner of the facility, also tried to snatch the phone, struck several blows. They called the patrol police, the man rushed to the elevator and tried to escape. The patrol policemen stopped him, and the journalist recorded everything. "Then he attacked me again and inflicted several blows in the presence of the Patrol Police officers," - the journalist said.
According to him, he wrote a statement about the assault. The visitors, who were nearby, agreed to act as witnesses.
