A criminal was detained by Transcarpathian border guards
In the morning, the border guards of the "Tisa" department of the Chop detachment detained a man of the Caucasian appearance who tried to illegally get to Hungary.
The district inspector noticed an unknown man in the forest belt at a distance of 150 meters to the border. The foreigner was not carrying any documents, but he said that he was a citizen of the Russian Federation. During the verification activities, the border guards found out that the detainee was wanted in Russia for a number of criminal offenses.
As a member of an organized group he was engaged in so-called "black real estate." After illegally buying shares of apartments in Moscow, he and his associates would force families to leave their homes or sell them cheap. In addition, they are checking possible involvement of the offender in organizing the illegal transportation of a group of illegal migrants from Afghanistan the Ukrainian-Hungarian border.
At present, filtration activities with the involvement of the operational unit officers are ongoing. After establishment of all the circumstances of the offense, he will be brought to administrative liability under Part 2 of Article 204-1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses "Illegal crossing or attempt to illegally cross the state border of Ukraine". His further fate will be determined by the court.
