Today, at the session of the Uzhgorod City Council, in order to stop the planned construction, they decided to buy back three land plots near the regional music and drama theater, which are owned by individuals, for public needs.
In particular, the land plot with a total area of 0.2 hectares owned by Volodymyr Yursa, the approximate redemption price is one million hryvnias. The nearby land plot in area of 0.06 hectares owned by Ivan Tehza, the approximate redemption price is 300 thousand hryvnias. The land plot with a total area of 0.11 hectares, which is also owned by Ivan Tehza, the approximate redemption price is 550 thousand hryvnias.
The Department of Municipal Economy of Uzhgorod City Council should ensure an expert evaluation of the land and submit the amount of the redemption price for each plot for the approval of the City Council.
The owners will be offerred other equivalent land plots. If the owners agree to negotiate on the conditions for the redemption of the land near the regional theater, the Mayor will conduct negotiations on the redemption price, the terms of contract conclusion, and other conditions of redemption.
The decision was supported by 26 deputies.
