Transcarpathian Nevytske is among the top three finalists of the "Incredible Villages of Ukraine" contest

The Expert Council of the Third All-Ukrainian Competition "Incredible Villages of Ukraine 2018" has identified ten finalists, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported.

Those are the villages:

♦ Ilovytsia, Ternopil region - 1094 points;

♦ Hoshcha, Rivne region - 1002 points;

♦ Nevytske, Transcarpathian region - 992 points;

♦ Vesela Dolyna, Odesa region - 984 points;

♦ Lebedyn, Cherkasy region - 980 points;

♦ Zoloty Kolodyaz, Donetsk region - 970 points;

♦ Krylos, Ivano-Frankivsk region - 953 points;

♦ Novomikolayivka, Kharkiv region - 946 points;

♦ Hryhorivka, Kherson region - 879 points;

♦ Chechelnyk, Vinnytsia region - 866 points.

The goal of the project is to promote the interaction of small and medium-sized businesses and the state administration in the countryside to support the development of rural areas and communities, to popularize life in the countryside, to remind about the historical and cultural heritage of the Ukrainian countryside. Also, the format of this year's competition includes the selection of the best business plan for the development of rural areas.

The "Incredible Village Rally" starts today and will last until July 15. Journalists will visit each of the 10 villages. The final stage of the contest - online voting on - will start on July 16 and will last until August 16.

The prize fund of the III All-Ukrainian contest "Incredible Villages of Ukraine 2018" in the amount of 150 thousand hryvniad will be distributed as follows: the first place - 100 thousand hryvnias, the second and third places - 25 thousand hryvnias.
