Strawberry, good-bye; what's next?
You have probably noticed that strawberries have disappeared from the shelves. They can be still found here and there, but the prices are already quite high: 45-50 hryvnias. Vendors say that there is not a lot of strawberries left, because the recent hail destroyed the crop.
Instead, cherries, apparently, were not affected by the hail - there is a lot of them at the markets, and they are sweet. The prices range from 15 to 40 hryvnias.
There is also a lot of raspberries, and the price per kilogram is on average 35 hryvnias. There are few apricots now, but there is a lot of peaches, which you can buy at 40-50 hryvnias per kilo.
