Repair works have started on the highest pass of the Carpathians

Road repair has begun on the Yablenytsky Pass, the highest in the Ukrainian Carpathians (931 meters above sea level).

The works are being carried out on the stretch from the village of Lazeshchyna to the pass itself.

At the moment, the laying of stone mastic asphalt is being carried out.
 Stone mastic asphalt increases the lifetime of the road multi-fold. It has long been used in Europe. This material is very durable and resistant to wear – therefore, subject to observance of all processes, the roads with such coating serve longer.
