A sharp deterioration of weather conditions is expected in Transcarpathia

Due the passage of the cold front, in the afternoon on June 21, at night and during the day on June 22, a sharp change in weather conditions is expected in Transcarpathian region.

There will be heavy rains, thunderstorms, in some places – heavy showers, hailstones and squalls of 20-25 m / s. Decrease of daytime temperatures to 15-20°, in high mountains – to 3-5°. On June 21-22, water levels on the rivers of the region are expected to increase by 0.3-1 m, in the lower reaches of the.Borzhava river – 1-1.5 m (within the limits of the native shores). In the evening on June 21, at night and during day on June 22, in the areas of heavy rainfall, there will be significant local runoff, minor local mudslides may occur," – the Transcarpathian Center for Hydrometeorology informed.
