Transcarpathian ensemble was the best among 800

The choreographic ensemble of the Uzhgorod Center for Creative Development "Zirati-Zefirchik" took part and won the first prize at the International Festival-Competition "Golden Fleece" in Batumi. This was reported by the Prozak.

The ensemble competed with almost eight hundred "colleagues" from Slovakia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Israel, Ukraine and, of course, Georgia. It was an exciting spectacle during three concerts on great stages.

Uzhgorod dancers were also impressed by the beautiful and modern Batumi. The children were particulary surprised by accidental meeting with the Holy and Most Blessed Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Elijah II in a small mountain monastery. He blessed everyone and offered to perform a folk dance in the monastery yard for everyone who was there and for him. Which the Uzhgorod dancers did with great inspiration!
