They dreamt of the EU, but will end up in Mukachevo

Yesterday, July 26, during the preventive operation "Migrant", representatives of the Anti-Trafficking Department, together with the Uzhgorod district police, officers of the operative search department of the Mukachevo border guard detachment and officers of the migration service, found illegal migrants in the forest near the village of Hlyboke. Five foreigners did not have any documents on them. The foreigners were 21 to 50 years old. The car Volkswagen Passat was driven by a 35-year-old native of another state, who has been living in Ukraine for a long time, namely in the city of Chornomorsk, Odesa region. He is reasonably suspected of organizing this illegal crossing.

The police opened a criminal proceedings under Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, promoting illegal crossing of the state border by illegal migrants. The foreigners were taken to a police station. They are going to be transported to the temporary holding center of the Mukachevo border guard detachment. The vehicle of the offender was taken to the police impound lot. The investigation is ongoing, the press service of the Transcarpathian regional police informed.
