The ground floors on Petofi square should be in the same style, the mayor says (PHOTOS)

The Mayor of Uzhgorod Bohdan Andriyiv instructed the city planning and architecture department to prepare a concept for the unifrom design of the facades of shops and signage on the ground floors of the buildings on Sandor Petofi square.

As you know, the replacement of engineering networks was performed on the square, it has already been paved with stone, which was previously taken from several streets of the city. On the right side, near the pedestrian bridge, clear lines of the future bicycle path are visible. They are also making holes for the trees that will be planted on the square, lamp connection points, and soon they will begin to pave the sidewalks.

Today, Bohdan Anfriyiv held at the work site a meeting with the chief architect Oleg Borshovsky, the director of the department of municipal economy Volodymyr Babydorych, representatives of the contractor, work performers. They made some adjustments, discussed the restoration of the fence near the exit to the bridge, facade illumination, etc., – the press service of Uzhgorod city council informed.
