On July, the option of online search of books and articles on the site of the Transcarpathian Regional Universal Scientific Library was restored. From now on, you can find out if any publication is available in the library by keyword, author or title of the book. This makes it easier to find the right book and is an alternative to a manual search in a card catalog or an automated search on the computer in the library, the Media Center website informs.
In the electronic catalog you can find all books, articles published since 2003. Soon, they promise to open a retrofund, that is, the content published earlier.
According to the director Olena Kanyuka, the electronic catalog offers various types of search – standard, professional, advanced, etc. From now on, readers can quickly find out about new books received during the past month in a specific department – local lore, the reading room or subscription.
The fund of the largest public library of the region includes half a million copies.
