Meteorologists warn of rising water on the rivers of Transcarpathia. There may be flooding
The highest rise of water level is expected in the Uzh, Latorytsya and Borzhava.
Heavy precipitation, as well as snow melting due to warming, led to the rise of water levels in the rivers.
According to the Hydrometeorological Center, the water level in the Latorytsya and the Uzh will rise from one to two meters, and in the Borzhava - up to 2.5 meters.
Water can get onto the floodplains.
However, the precipitation should stop on Sunday. Snow melting will also stop, because the temperature in the mountains will be below zero. At night, sub-zero temperature is expected throughout the region.
