We continue to follow the fate of the rare bird.
The eagle, which was seized from the "slave-owner" on Teatralna Square in Uzhgorod, has a new home.
As it was planned, the bird, which became a hot topic of social networks and Transcarpathian news, has already arrived at the National Nature Park "Synevyr".
The eagle called Diana was sent to the reserve, where the Rehabilitation Center for Prey Birds recently opened, by the animal rights advocates from the NGO "FORZA". The environmentalists seized the bird from the man, who failed to present the relevant documents. Actually, he could not have, because keeping and exploitation of animals listed in the Red Book can not be legal. Now Diana is settling in a cage at the National Park.
"Our "ward" has received a new home in the center for rehabilitation of prey birds at the "Synevyr" NNP – a spacious new cage. We hope that she will enjoy it and will be following her fate", – the NGO "FORZA" informed and showed pictures.
