Another festival is taking place in Uzhgorod. This time – with honey (PHOTOS)

This time, the fair on Nezalezhnist embankment is devoted to honey. The event is called "Medovukha-fest", hence, in addition to traditional wines, souvenirs and dishes, they offer beekeeping products and beverages.

Best beekeepers from all over Transcarpathian region present their honey and honey products. There are various varieties of honey and mead, as well as tasty and healthy beekeeping products – pollen, propolis, various sweeteners based on honey, wax products. Transcarpathian winemakers, folk craftsmen and leading farmers joined the beekeepers. Guests of the festival are entertained with a concert program and treated with dishes of Transcarpathian cuisine: bograch, baked potatoes, kebabs, fried ribs and many more. For the first time, foresters of Transcarpathian region presented at the fair hunting trophies, wooden toys made of Transcarpathian wood, natural Carpathian tea, honey, products harvested in forests and dried by foresters, more than 100 samples of wood species, which grow in Transcarpathia. There is also a thematic photo zone, which was prepared by the Association of Beekeepers of Transcarpathia. "Medovukha-fest" is open until the end of the Sunday.
